ABILENE, Texas, April 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- University Credit Union (UCU) is pleased to invite students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members to a week-long Open House Celebration from April 22–25, 2025 at the newly rebranded "ACU Credit Union Powered by UCU" banking hub. The event will honor the legacy of Abilene Christian University Credit Union and officially welcome the Abilene Christian University (ACU) community into the UCU family with food, music, giveaways, and more.
This celebration marks the next chapter following the successful merger of University Credit Union and Abilene Christian University Credit Union, which was officially completed on February 1, 2025. With core system integration finalized in early March, UCU now offers enhanced services, expanded digital tools, and a robust nationwide banking network—all while maintaining the personalized service and community commitment members have always known.
