San Gabriel Center Details Two-Session RF Skin Tightening Schedule

San Gabriel, United States - September 18, 2026 / DSC Laser & Skin Care Center /

SAN GABRIEL, CA, September 17, 2026 — DSC Laser & Skin Care Center introduced a structured XERF treatment plan for full face and neck procedures, using two treatment sessions spaced approximately four to six weeks apart as its typical starting schedule.

The treatment plan reflects the gradual tissue response associated with radiofrequency procedures. XERF uses 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz monopolar radiofrequency energy at different tissue depths, while collagen remodeling may continue for several months following treatment. The center adjusts treatment planning according to skin laxity, treatment area, previous procedures, skin condition, and individual treatment goals.

The XERF workflow begins with an assessment of the skin and planned treatment area before radiofrequency energy is applied. A full face and neck session may involve approximately 900 treatment shots, while smaller treatment areas may require different coverage and treatment patterns.

DSC generally schedules the second full face and neck session approximately four to six weeks after the first. The interval allows time for the skin to begin responding before the planned treatment course continues. Individual schedules may vary based on treatment response and other clinical considerations.

During treatment, a return pad is placed on the body and ultrasound gel is applied to the treatment area. The provider moves the applicator across the planned area using selected treatment settings, while integrated cryogen delivery provides surface cooling. DSC generally performs XERF without topical numbing or needles.

The center describes XERF as having no expected downtime, although temporary warmth, redness, or sensitivity may occur. Treatment time can range from approximately 30 minutes to more than an hour depending on the area covered.

Patient screening includes review of medical history, previous aesthetic procedures, implanted medical devices, current skin concerns, medications, and other conditions that may affect treatment planning. Pregnancy and certain implanted battery-powered medical devices, including pacemakers, may make XERF inappropriate.

DSC Laser & Skin Care Center plans to continue using individualized assessment and structured scheduling when determining XERF treatment courses, with treatment area, skin condition, prior procedures, and response informing ongoing planning.
